Sorry all - I have been a blog slacker the last few weeks! It may have something to do with chasing a 16 month old everywhere! That's right, I said, 16 month old! Time is going so fast - Noah is already 16 months old! Here are some of our favorite "Noah" things over the last few weeks since I haven't been blogging about it much!
On Monday night of this past week, Noah was playing with his wooden blocks. He did stack 6 high (Yippee!), but then he started throwing them! Now these blocks hurt when thrown at your body, so after a few warnings, I told him that I was going to take them away if he didn't stop. As any mother of a 16 month old knows, guess what happened next? I had to take the blocks away. So I put them at the top of my closet, and Noah saw me do it. The whole time we talked about not throwing blocks. So on Thursday night, I asked him, "What happened to your blocks, Noah? Where are they?" and lo and behold, he started walking and pointing to my closet. He walked from his bedroom to me closet door and pointed. I couldn't believe he remembered where they were.
Also Thursday night, Matty and I discovered that our 14 year old hot water heater was on the fritz, meaning it was leaking. So we have been working in the basement the past couple of nights, cleaning up the water. And last night, I was running the Rug Doctor, and Matty was draining the heater, by filling up a pitcher and pouring it down the basement drain. 5 minutes later, when we were both doing other things, sweeping up water and positioning fans, Noah goes over the pitcher, picks it up, and dumps it down the drain (well most of it!). It was the cutest thing!
Noah had his 15 month checkup - all is great - he is short-ish (27%) and not as skinny as I thought he would be (47%). Daycare/school is going great except for a few biting incidents where we have been both the bitee and biter. There has been a lot of talk about "No Biting" in our house this past week.
Otherwise, all is well, and I will be back to a more normal blog schedule - now that I'm caught up, and you are too!

Oh my gosh!!!!! He is the cutest thing ever with the funniest, bestest, mischievousest personality to go with the cuteness!

How perfect is he. Love the looks and mostly the look he is giving to his Mom and Dad.
He may have nice and mean looks to give. Love them.
