We have had a couple of snow days recently. Noah's daycare closes when the Lawrence school district closes, and I view that as a great excuse to be a stay at home mom that day! Noah's first venture into the snow didn't go so great, he mostly stayed in the garage. But later that day (Snow day 1), he became hooked. For the last snow we received, we got out of the car, and he was out in the snow. I brought him in to put on his snow boots (yes, up here in the Kansas arctic, a child needs snow boots), and he was outside everywhere. The only way I was able to get him in the house was because Matty came home and we hopped in the car with him. Then later that evening when Matty went out to shovel the snow, guess who went with him. It was late and really cold, and eventually, Matty had to make Noah come in the house. Sure enough, he was really cold (frozen snot and everything) but he was loving snowy life too much to care!

Snow Day 2, notice the snow coverage. That's because we lay in it and roll around, etc... |

Very deep snow! (That's the neighbor's fence - not sure why there are open slots in it, Matty can tell you all about it) |

Tasting snow! |
We have loved the snow days, and I'm okay with a few more!

He is so darn cute and funny. Love the way he takes his time thinking things out and then deciding "hey I might like this". Love the expression when he had to put on a hat.
Those are so cute and I hope you get to have a bunch more snow days!
