Catching up!

We, my blog readers, have a lot of catching up to do. Sorry I have been such a slacker these days. I promise to do a better job, keeping you all posted on the happenings in Kansas.
Everything is going well here. Summer is right around the corner. Noah is mostly potty trained. We have an accident every now and then, but except for naps and night, we are all big boy underwear. (I'm not sure how to work in naps and nighttime!) The pacifier is long gone, and our baby is turning into a little boy. We have parent teacher conference coming up, and then in August, I think Noah will move to the pre-I room. Noah's favorite person at school - Shelby - is moving to a different daycare. She got a promotion and we are all super sad and happy for her at the same time. Noah is going to go through some serious withdrawal. He LOVES LOVES LOVES Shelby.
Additionally, Matty got a new job. (See we have been busy!) He accepted his dream job teaching position at a private school in Kansas City. It's a super great awesome school, and he is so excited. He will start out with 9th and 10th graders, and he is also going to be in charge of the newspaper! Just call him Gil Meyers. We think his commute will be about 45 minutes, he will have to drive down towards the plaza, for those who are familiar with KC. So he has been wrapping up the school year at KU, and finishing his grades for the last time!
In the mean time, Noah has been to Oklahoma, my mom and Matty's mother and stepdad have been to visit - we have been hopping!

Here are some pics of recent days. We have been to the zoo - check out the psycho bats! Another is of Noah after his nap. I must not have got the pantry closed because that is how I found him. There is a pic of he and his papa snoozing, and a couple of the KS girls and me in New Orleans. I took a trip with 5 other girls a couple of weekends ago to visit my friend, Annie, who moved to Louisiana.
