Busy Weekend

The three of us had a very busy weekend. I'm going to have to go to work to relax! It started with Noah's first swimming lesson. He did very well and doesn't have much fear. He didn't love putting his head under water, but jumping off the side was no problem! After that, we went home and took a nap and then it was time for Britton's (from school) birthday party. It was at the Lawrence Gymnastics Academy - which is clearly the most awesome place ever! Noah had a blast. He actually jumped from a trampoline into a foam pit. I was really nervous!
Today, we heard that Thomas the Train was in Baldwin City, about 20 minutes up the road. So the three of us make the journey and went on a train ride. This was not my best idea as it was the first really hot weekend, so the train ride was nice to knock some of the steam off us.

All in all, it was a great weekend!
Getting ready to leave for swimming lessons

Meeting the teachers

Working in the water

Kicks - he had that down no problem

After the lessons!

Foam pit

Jumping off the trampoline. Not the proper use for it.

Everyone else sang, "Happy birthday." Noah just watched.

Noah on the school bus to go to the train depot.

On the train

Dad on the train. Noah spilled water on his shirt.

Loving the train

Telling the train whistle to be quiet

Noah and Thomas
