Hi all! We had Noah's first ever soccer practice today! You might be thinking - YOU ARE CRAZY - he is too little for that. Well you would be right, but Matty and I decided, what does it hurt to let our little guy run around in an organized fashion with a ball? Turns out, we were right. It was great and Noah did awesomely! He was shy for about the first 45 seconds and then he was over that. We met Coach Chris, who happens to be from England (which Matty accurately predicted!) and Noah got a ball and shirt. There were several kids from Noah's school, including his best friend AJ. If you are ever around Noah, you will hear him talk about AJ for sure. They are about 6 weeks apart, and I work with AJ's mother at the PSS. Every time Noah referred to him at practice (let's be real - when Noah was bossing AJ), he called him "AJ Kimzey, come here" with his first and last name. Anyway, all the kids had great fun, and Noah did a pretty good job listening and following directions. The minute we got home, he asked me to be Coach Chris and we did some "soccering" around the house. One of the funniest parts of practice was when Coach Chris asked the kids to dribble. I was confused at first as to why Noah was picking up his soccer ball and trying to bounce it, but then we figured out, he was literally dribbling it - like a basketball! Also when Matty told Noah and AJ to make sure they weren't using their hands, Noah told Matty to "Go over there, Dad." He wanted Matty to leave him alone and let him do it his way!
Here are some pics and video!

The cone on his head is AWESOME! He is so cute.
He is such a precious little boy - smart - sweet and smiles most all the time. I enjoyed ever minute I had with him and of course you and Matty as well.
