Puff the Magic Dragon

While Noah was in Oklahoma, he and my mom must have sung "Puff the Magic Dragon" a lot.  He came back from that trip singing it, though he doesn't get the words quite right.  In Noah's version, Puff lives "by the seed and frog licks in the often mist in a land called Hon-a-leave".   Here is a video of him singing it and "You've Got a Friend in Me'.

And while this doesn't fit in this post, it just happened and so Matty and I wanted to capture it.  Noah is going to sleep and we only stay in the room with him for 5 minutes (really I stay for 7) and then we go back and check on him. When Matty went in to check on him, Noah told him the following things:

"Daddy, you need to go to sleep in your bed."
"You need to wash your hands."
"You need to look at pictures of me"
"You need to go look at computers"
"And go type your name."
He was clearly just stalling and trying to think of things to say to Matty, but aren't those things hilarious and out of left field?

I like the "frog licked" and he is going to make us a bunch of money someday. Probably in the near future. Love the random chores Matty has to do.

You mean I'm not the only one with a toddler who stalls at bedtime?

What a charmer. Love all the thing he told his daddy what to do and say.
