9 Months Old

Where did our baby girl go?  Madeline (or Madelenny or Gracie Girl as she is known in our house) is 9 months old already.  We can't believe it.  She is still a baby, but then she already isn't.  She is so fun to be around.   We went to the doctor today for her 9 month checkup and she is doing great.  We start milk tomorrow and we get to be done with formula (as soon as we make it to the grocery store, that is!)  Our doctor had us do the same with Noah and it worked great.  Since she is developing great and is kinda a big girl (more on that to come), he was good with moving to milk.
She was 28% height, 78% weight, and 25% head, so she is slimming down! She crawls everywhere and has been for a few months (I'm behind on that blog, huh!?)  Once she really got crawling, she also has been pulling up for about a month; we had to lower her crib, though I don't think she was going to do any climbing. She just started all food at school and is doing lots of table food at home too.
She is loud and strong, wants to "tangle" with Noah, though she loves him very much.  My husband's words "She is a vibrant and slightly demanding young lady. She knows what she wants and that was usually five minutes ago.  And she is super quick to smile at you. And she LOVES her brother."
She is a good sleeper and is working on her 7th and 8th tooth!  I think she is going to have sensitive skin and we have to fight diaper rash a lot.
Here are some pictures of that pretty girl who we adore!

Here are some pictures of Madeline and me playing peek-a-boo on our stairs.  She didn't really like that game, as you will soon see!

Me hustling to get her!

"I'm sorry, baby."

I think she might have held a grudge
thought you might need some shots of the rest of the crew!

I remember when Matty did that to Noah and he loved it and laughed a lot. Was that scary to her or that she couldn't touch you.
Bless her heart. She is getting smaller overall, but still a beautiful little girl.
Noah is growing so much. Love those great grand-kids.
