Last Days at Payless

For all those of you following along at home, you now know that after nearly 15 years, I don't work at Payless ShoeSource anymore. It was so hard to leave...there are so many great people there.  But ultimately, we are going to move to Kansas City, so I needed to find a job there.  I started working at the Federal Reserve Bank in KC about one month ago.  It's going to be a great place to work, once I let go of shoes and learn everything there is about depository institutions.  I'm learning a lot, but still have a ways to go!
Leaving Payless was hard, harder than I thought it would be, mostly because everyone was so nice to me on the way out.  My boss got me a present every day on my last week. There was a cake, lots of jokes, and a few tears, but ultimately, I know I've made the right decision for my family.

Now I'll get back to blogging about my kids, just thought I'd close this chapter.
