And a few lights too! We've never put up Christmas lights outside, but then this is a Holiday season with many firsts for us. Matty, Noah, and I put up some Christmas lights outside.
And we bought a real tree for the first time ever! We figured we had a new real family, so it was time for a new real tree.
Here is Noah helping his Dad out. Putting up the real tree wasn't easy. It took a couple of takes for us to get it right - maybe because we didn't read the directions, oops!
I'm kinda proud of our Christmas cactus. How smart is it? How does it know to bloom now?
"Dad, you need some help with those lights. Looks like you do."
We tried to get Noah to wear a Santa hat, but you can see how that went.
Notice the lid on the floor. Playing in our lid drawer is one of Noah's favorite past times. We find lids all over the house.
Noah got to have a cookie, so you can see some crumbs on his face!

a Santa hat on. Love the one where he is crawling around the tree to help Daddy.
You will have lots of fun with his first Christmas since he is almost 12mo old. It has gone by so fast and I've enjoyed every picture.
I wish I could have seen you guys trying to put up the tree. :-) I am proud of you for getting a real tree! That is ambitious for your very first Christmas tree. And the lights look great on your porch!
