Parent Teacher Conference!

Matty and I went to Noah's parent teacher conference on Tuesday morning. We had a great time talking with Lance, Noah's lead teacher, about our boy.

Sounds like we have Mr. Social - that's actually how Lance referred to Noah. He said lots of wonderful things, including that he forgets a lot that Noah isn't two yet! He also said that Noah was the best veggie eater in the classroom. At that comment, I had to clarify that we were talking about the correct child! They do some assessments, and Noah passed them all with flying colors. There is a gang of 4-5 boys that pal around the classroom, and Lance said that is fun for him to watch. He said that Noah does a great job with potties, and that we could probably get him trained in a weekend. After we get back from the holidays, we will start. Since Noah's a little on the young side, I don't think we will try to knock it out in a weekend, but we will gradually do it, and let Noah lead it - like he has so far. Also once the potty training is accomplished, we will tackle the pacifier. I'm pretty sure that will be disastrous, but hopefully not as awful as the Mills' house (Hang in there Mandy!)

Anyway, Lance said that Noah is a wonderful, happy, sweet boy, and everything he could want in a student. That was wonderful to hear because he is pretty much all and far far far much MORE we ever hoped for in a child!

Matching hat and gloves that I INSIST upon!

We have a little couch in Noah's closet and he liked to read in there!

Mr. Social he is and has always had a great personality.
Both of you had no idea how much you were going to love this little person since it was kinda iffy if you were even going to have a baby.
All your exceptions went above and beyond your thinking.
You have been exceptional parents and he is one happy little boy and lucky to have you.
Glad he got a good report from his teacher.
I'm so glad he eats his veggies somewhere. He may just have his parents trained for him to eat something else.
