And onto 2012

2011 was a doozy of a year for the Clothiers.  I'm not saying it wasn't great, but it was really hard.  Let me list all the life changes that happened in this year:
  • Added new responsibility at my job (Latin America),
  • Got rid of the pacifier (this was earth shattering to a certain two year old!),
  • Matty got a new teaching job in Kansas City (Yippee!),
  • Found out we were pregnant (Matty's job and pregnancy happened within one week of each other!),
  • Bought a new car,
  • Finished the basement and our bedroom which forced us to move into the guest bedroom (now Madeline's bedroom for awhile!),
  • Welcomed Madeline into our lives!

I listed them in chronological order, not order of importance (obviously)

The other thing I should add in here is that I was SUPER grumpy pregnant woman.  Once Madeline came out, I remembered what it was like to be nice and funny (my natural humor just came right back ;)

Kudos go to Matty who put up with super grumpy pregnant wife, designed and coordinated the remodel, and became a commutor and first year teacher.

Now that we have had about all the changes a family can handle in one year, let's move onto a less volatile 2012.  The Clothier family New Year's Resolutions (I don't understand people who don't believe in resolutions - don't you have something to improve in yourself?!)
  • Be more patient. That's mine and based on the previous comments about being super grumpy in 2011, 2012 only has one direction to go!
  • Get Noah to bed earlier (this clearly is not on his list of resolutions)
  • Do more home cooking and less ordering and restaurants for dinner
  • Get back to working out (both Matty and me)
  • And Noah's - No whining, listen, be polite
  • And Madeline's  - Keep growing!

That should wrap up 2011 and kick off 2012 for us. Now that you know our resolutions, help us stay honest!

Laughed and cried at your 2011 year. You did have a lot happen and a lot to go through, but look how nice everything turned out.
Noah is the perfect big brother to his precious little sister. He will always watch over her.
I bet you can keep you resolutions.
Love all 4 of you and love the hands.
