Two Month Checkup

We had Madeline's two month checkup on Friday. She is doing great and growing like a weed! She has grown into her head, it's now 37th percentile.  She has also gotten longer - at 23 inches, 60th percentile.  And our little lady continues to like to eat - weighing in at 13 pounds and 87th percentile.  She is a full pound heavier than Noah was at his age! It makes Matty and me laugh to see the adorable rolls! She continues to do great - sleeps really well at night and our only area that we haven't got her figured out yet is going to bed.  She still likes to stay up an hour to two after her last feeding. (Or maybe we have got her figured out and this is it!)

We met with our Infant room teacher today as my maternity leave is winding down!  I'm going to be so sad to not be able to spend all this special time with her.  But I think overall the rest of family (and by that I mean my husband) will be happy to see me working.  With the addition of Pinterest in my life, I've been doing a lot of cooking and prior to this maternity leave, that was always Matty's territory. I think he wants the kitchen back (and not just because I clogged up the sink tonight!) No seriously, we're all going to be sad to see this special time end. However, Madeline will have the same wonderful teacher - Colleen - that Noah had http://theclothiercapers.blogspot.com/2009/04/first-day-of-daycare.html.  The room seems mostly the same - the only difference that seemed a bit painful is that they don't swaddle babies any longer. New daycare (across Kansas at least) rules. That's how Madeline sleeps at night and how she takes naps (or so I was planning for about the next month), so that will be an adjustment.
