Noah's two month appointment!

Noah's overall health is great.  He is 23.5 inches long (64% percentile), 12 pounds (50% percentile), and he has a small head at 15.5 inches (29% percentile).  His GG thought that his head was flatter on one side than the other, and the doctor said maybe a little, but nothing to worry about.  He said that we will do cereal at 4 months, and he seemed really concerned for me to go back to work and pump.   He talked about a lot of different ways to make it work, so we shall see.  I haven't been concerned about it at all.  Maybe it is tougher than I thought!
And for the shots, it seems like only yesterday when shots were something that Matty and I would look forward to (unless it was hard whiskey!)   And oh how times change!  Now shots were something that we were dreading.  But Noah handled it like a trooper.  The nurse came in; he had to get three shots and an oral vaccine.  She did the oral one first, and you could tell he thought that was kinda interesting.  Something new in his mouth!  He sucked on the dropper.  Then came the shots  - and my oh my, the nurse was fast with those three.  He screamed out and did the "Hi I'm Noah and watch how long I can hold my breath.  I can make Mommy and Daddy really nervous" routine.   And then Matty and I picked him up and it was pretty much over.  He maybe cried for 16 seconds.  But then I started crying, and for longer than 16 seconds.  And then my tears made Matty tear up a little.  But then we recovered, and before we knew it, Noah was asleep.  I was planning on nursing him (my sister in law recommended it for right after shots), but since he went to sleep, we didn't want to wake him.   He went to sleep so deeply and quickly that Matty and I went to the grocery store .  HOMEMADE SPAGHETTI tonight!
Here are a few pics of Noah from yesterday....

Well I can tell from the text message that he is doing great and ready for bedlam. I am so sorry that you and Matty took it so badly. It's so strange how it must hurt and then nothing from them. ilu These are good pictures.
