The Clothier family made the journey to the Big 12 Tournament in KC again this year. GG and Jim were there too, so it was great fun. It was a little less strenuous and stressful since the Pokes weren't expected to dominate (like we did in 04 and 05!). Noah and I went Wednesday night, Matty went on Thursday to see the Pokes play KU, Noah and I went on Friday night, and all three of us went on Saturday. However, we learned two year olds need a ticket, so Matty just watched the game at the Power and Light District in KC. We're so excited because the tournament is here again next year and we are planning to go again!
On Wednesday night when we went, it was pretty quiet, so it was a low key time. However on Friday night, KU was playing someone (I don't remember, and let's be real, it doesn't matter!) and it was so loud in there. I wasn't prepared for it, and Noah didn't like it. He ended up going to sleep on my shoulder during the game - how he could sleep in there is beyond me. Saturday, I was ready. I had Noah pepped up for the noise. I told him everytime that the crowd was loud, we were going to get louder! That night, Noah made friends with those around us, and one man caught a souvenir cow (don't ask) and gave it to Noah. We also went and found "Big Baby J" - the KU mascot - and he got to touch and hug him. When we got back to tell GG about it, the story was suddenly embellished, and not only did Noah hug and touch "Big Baby J", but apparently, they kissed too, at least Noah said they did.

It is so funny that he just makes things up! Of course I love the last picture and the new hand picture.
I noticed the new hand picture first. Compared them and so precious.
Noah is good at making things up, but he just has a great imagination.
Love the story of Big 12 basketball.
